The Lodge has one bedroom suitable for 2 people and the use of a large sofa bedfor a child (on request). All bedding provided.
We do allow short breaks (Min 3 Nights) throughout the year. Please Email for availability and tariff (BanfieldLodge@AOL.com).
Throughout the peak season we operate a Sat-Sat basis for 7 night weekly bookings (exceptions only by agreement). Outside of peak period, we can vary arrival and departure days for 7 night stays, and take any other combination of shorter stays.
We prefer arrival to be after 4 pm.
We know that the majority of guests will always have due courtesy to let us know - if they expect to have friends joining them for a night or two - but guests making a booking MUST declare, in advance, on booking, the individuals who will stay at Banfield Lodge. Unless otherwise notified, guests making a booking are limited to two adults and their children - provided all are declared on booking. Additional charges will apply for any undeclared guests. The owner reserves the right to ask guests to leave with immediate effect and with no refund if this condition is broken.

Where late bookings are made we can accept cash on arrival, by agreement
A deposit of 30% is required within 7 days of booking
The full balance should be settled no later than two calendar months prior to arrival date
Where you book less than two months prior to arrival date, we will ask for the full balance
Cancellations made more than two months before arrival date will receive a full no quibbles refund
If you cancel within two months of your visit we will keep the full balance unless we take another booking. We will always be fair and understanding to guests with genuine unforeseeable reasons to cancel
If you do cancel within two months of arrival date but we manage to take a replacement booking following your cancellation we will make a full refund to you (minus any price loss we may have incurred in taking any late replacement booking)
We recommend visitors consider taking out travel insurance which covers you for losses in any such cancellation event (obviously your travel insurance must cover UK based holidays).
